about plus size models within and outside of the site.
What’s really troubling is that the membership and site owners continue to disregard fat members opinions and have even held a contest where one of the owners of the site, Sean was to shoot the facebook winner of a contest to have their set featured on the front page.
The girl who won was plus sized.
Instead of honoring this commitment, however, she was informed that they would not even be shooting the set, and more recently her membership was revoked. The owners and moderators of this site and their bias and refusal to address this as a human rights issue and not strictly a ‘modeling’ issue as it has become associated with.
I’m only asking you to be aware of who you support your money with and whee you find your ‘art’ because as many people as I have learned from and loved by being a member there, as many people I have met who do not associate fat people as equals, as humans.
I am not very elloquinet, or a good speller, or even someone who can make a good arguement on the internet. But I have tired and I do try to use my voice to make it better for all of us, and I urge you to do the same.
